Milk that is RAW and comes from a cow that is fed grass only will not have any human pathogens in it. Primitive people used friendly bacteria added to the milk and the bacteria in the milk to preserve it by fermenting. That's where yogurt, kefir, cottage cheese, etc. came from.

When you do what commercial dairy farmers are doing today and feeding cows GRAINS, you shorten the cow's life by 3/4, they become sick and inflamed, and produce sick, human pathogen containing bacteria, and so they treat the cows like doctors are treating humans today with all kinds of drugs that create lots of problems for the cows and anyone drinking the garbage milk. They have to pasteurize the milk to even make it relatively safe from bacteria, but 2-3% bacteria survive the pasteurization process.

That my friend, is adulterated milk. To advertise it as "good for you" and recommend feeding it to children is unconscionable, especially when they give cows the rbGH genetically engineered hormones to force them to produce more milk. That garbage causes IGF-1 to be produced and is carcinogenic. And please, don't expect the FDA to come to the rescue on this one because they have a mandate from the white house and congress to promote genetic engineering, no matter how bad it is.

Children need fat and in most cases, they are not given the amount of fat their bodies require and illness is the result. It is a terrible idea to give children low fat milk. Breast milk is 54% saturated FAT and that is what every expert in nutrition knows that breast milk is the perfect food for children. From birth to 18 years old, the fat content should start at 54% and gradually reduce to 30% by the age of 18 and continue throughout life at the 30% level.
